Prey movie review

Prey is a legitimate film that should have been released in theaters instead than on streaming services. It's very exciting to see with the Native American dub. Director Dan Trachtenberg is anxious to show off with a grab-bag of current visual concepts and robust action choreography, and it fits in wonderfully with the original movie's survivalist attitude, but it lacks the disquieting feelings of the original work and John McTiernan's legendary flourish. The soundtrack and sound design add to the enveloping atmosphere, which is mostly comprised of shots of wooded areas. Naru, played by Amber Midthunder, is the film's unsung hero. The movie's tempo and rhythm are defined by (new update) her facial emotions and quick movements, culminating in a thrilling climax in the third act. How gruesome and vicious! It's fantastic to see the Predator's triumphant return.
